Delightful place with pleasant staff and free wi-fi. Airy room with a comfortable decor. Lots of food for the full English breakfast. Prime location near to the centre and the center of Ambleside.

Overall it was immaculate with breakfast. The venue was in a very central location short walk to the centre, and the restaurant. Soup reastaurant Daisys Cafe located 4 km away was a nice surprise.

It was just a reliable pick for a fleeting trip in Ambleside with value for money. The chicken liver pate with toast was quite nice. Make sure to check for sufficient food portions when ordering.

We enjoyed exploring the lakes and headed to Lytham St Annes for some lovely seaside views. The location was perfect, and the room was clean. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly despite being busy....  

The ambleside inn is in a perfect location, right on the corner of the main road. Parking was easy too! The staff were so accommodating, especially in the evenings, great to relax with our drinks after long walks. I loved the unique option...

Noise issues from the street can be quite disruptive!!! The bathroom facilities could be updated to improve comfort!!! Consider providing additional sockets near the bed for convenience!!!

The Ambleside Inn is perfect location in Ambleside. I loved the spacious family room that came with comfy beds and a fine view of the fells. Breakfast was fantastic with a good variety.

The parking situation is a bit inconvenient.

I was enchanted by the cozy atmosphere and lovely, cute staff! The central location made it easy to explore local shops and fine walks right outside my door. Plus, I adored the traditional home-cooked menu-every bite was a delight!...  

The staff was super kind n supportive even though they were kinda understaffed. Breakfast was really good, loved the variety n the cooked options. Location is decent too, not too far from car park. Really felt they tried...
